I attended Reed College in Portland, OR from 2005-2009. I rigorously studied a variety of subjects ranging from Classics, Chinese Humanities, Physics, Digital Media, and Creative Writing. As an Art Major I was responsible for creating a body of work and an academic paper exploring aspects of that work. I wrote, directed, edited Friday Day a film exploring the convergence of the mundane and the fantastical as a group of young adults wind down from a long day of work and school, and wind up to a night of partying. I wrote and published an academic paper investigating how an audience can create meaning from an experience with art, and what conditions, contexts, and constraints impact that embedded meaning.
